Akai MPC One sample quality

I recently purchased an AKAI MPC One and I'm having trouble getting my samples onto it. Specifically the quality of the samples once they're on the MPC One. I've tried the splice integration using ethernet to get my splice files onto my MPC but that just made all of my files .flac on my MPC which did not work. Now I am manually putting my splice files onto my SD card so they can be .WAV files and they still sound bad once they get on the MPC. They sound completely fine on my PC when I preview them but when I preview them on my MPC, they sound distorted, scratchy, and like I'm listening to them on an AM radio. The Bit depth and Sample Rate of these samples are fine, all of them are 44100 hz and 32 bit. I've also tried using my audio interface with my MPC to see if that would improve anything and it didn't. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Do they sound poor specifically in the browser? If so make sure warping is disabled in audition.

Flac files playback fine they just wont load when saved in a program because the program looks for yourfilename.wav Seems a bit silly that you can load a flac just fine and play it back but cant reload it if you save the program. Flac is such a great file format. Are you sure your conversion from Flac to wav isn't causing the files to distort?. I've had this problem before because the wrong audio codec was used causing the improper conversion of the Flac file to wav format.

Program files do not look for the extension, only the name, you can see this by opening up the XPM file in a text editor. File extension is however referenced in project files, so it's important in that respect. But in theory you could save a program with WAV samples and replace all the samples in the folder with FLAC and the XPM on its own should still load fine (project will not).

But in this case, where he is referring to 'previewing the sounds' it really does seem like warping is turned on in browser 'audition' and the files are likely one shots with a ridiculous BPM auto detected, e.g. 300 BPM, so they are probably getting warped down to 120BPM.

Ahh right, been a while since I played with this. When I converted the Motu Bpm library to mpc programs, i played around with editing programs and projects manually but the flac files will not load in a program or keygroup no matter what I tried. They load in clips and audio track just fine though. But a program would never load the Flac files even when editing with a text editor. Mp3s oddly worked though.

I've never really looked at flac files, mp3 definitely works without issue. I'll try to dedicate a bit of time to this at some point this week and if I find it's not working I'll submit a bug report.
