NRPN AUTOMATION

Hello,
I'd like to send midi information to a Novation Ultranova to be able to toogle the midi OUT function (available in Global Parameters of the Ultranova) from ON to OFF and vice versa.
It seems possible to do it but I need help to know what I must exactly put and where (i suppose in the list edit)
i think it's this parameter :
NRPN MSB=64
Midi Out Socket Function 64:17

Also: is this parameter acting like a switch ? Must I repeat it everytime I want to change the status of the MIDI Out parameter ?

It only sends CC or program change information out. The labels in the midi edit window are merely labels, and don't actually pertain to most gear, since they are just general midi labels. I have an Ultranova as well, so I might try it later on, but it has to be changeable via CC.

I think it could be possible. At least this is what I saw in the midi implementation chart of the Ultranova:
NRPN MSB=64
Midi Out Socket Function 64:17

My concern is just how and where to put this info in the MPC

Cool, wasn't aware of this approach. That video is pretty old, and MPCs been updated to allow changing CC of any of those. In list edit, you can add NRPN messages to send, which I wasn't even aware of. In theory, you could just put those messages at the the point you want to send it in a sequence.

Will mess with this later.
