I have a Yamaha CP88 with a FC3A pedal (which supports half-pedaling) connected to my MPC One. This controls several MIDI synths, including the Yamaha CP88, which are connected to the MIDI-out of the MPC One.

When playing with the pedal, I sometimes get notes which are sustained even after I release the sustain pedal (and releasing the note of course). Only way to get that specific note back into a "normal" (non-sustained mode) is to double click on the "Stop" button. Is this a known issue ? Is there a fix ? Or a setting I can change in the MIDI parameters to resolve this ?

Is this linked to the fact that I am using a pedal which supports multiple values for the sustain CC message ? I am asking because there is a potentially related post on this forum:
