I found some nice instrumentals and beats!!!

I went record shopping the other day and the clerk at the record store put me up on Mf Dooms break records.At first I was skeptical about them but after a listen I must say that I was really impressed.The beats are straight butter smooth.They are not really for sampling(hip-hop code) but for a DJ looking for cool beats to mix with than be on the look out for anything that says Metal Fingers.Metel Fingers is the name that is on the cover thats what the MF stands for.If you see them buy them because they are rare he only presses up 500 or so and once they are sold thats it.

Special Herbs (which is the name of the series of instrumental beats put out by MF DOOM) is sick. I have vol. 5,6 & vol. 7,8. I think some of thos songs aren't really "HIP-HOP" style and some of them are not good for rapping over. They are good for DJs who want to practice mixing.

They make the entire Special Herbs series on CD, only the ones made on vinyl are limited.

I listened to those MF Doom records again and the more I listen to them the more they grow on me.I DJ as well as do beats so I am always on the lookout for slept on intrumentals cause people get tired of hearing the same old mixes all the time I like to switch it up on them a bit.As much as I hate the term "Underground" there are hardly any DJ's worth naming around here that would play this kind of "Underground" stuff in a set or on the local mix show.All anyone knows around here is Crunk music.Crunk is cool but I get tired of playing and hearing it so maybe stuff like this can bring about a new era in the ears of the average music listener.Does anybody know of anymore stuff of this caliber thats out on 12" so that I can be on the lookout for it?The commercial stuff is easy to come by but I'm looking more for some good but unheard of cuts after all as a DJ it's my duty to turn the listeners on to new and unheard of music.
