why mini 3 does not record the tracks?

why mini 3 does not record the tracks?

I use mpc beats on my MPK mini 3, it sometimes does not record the tracks, I click "overdub/record + play " button on mpc beats app, and hit the pads on mini 3, it makes noises accordingly but these noises are not recorded on mpc beats app, any idea what is going on?

Are you arming the tracks for record? It won't record the notes if you're not arming the tracks first

Are you arming the tracks for record? It won't record the notes if you're not arming the tracks first


thanks for the reply. Can you explain what does it mean by "arming the tracks", sorry I am new to the mpc beats and mini 3.
