Illegal Distribution of the MPC Bible

Another reason for not releasing this info at the moment is that I really don't want to publicise his 'business'. He himself doesn't seem to have made much effort in marketing this second site (yet?), but for a casual observer it seems completely legit, he just comes across as a reseller of mine and Akai's expansions, offering 70% off retail. Not sure what he's thinking, he's not even tried to disguise his identity, it took 5 minutes of cross referencing his various sites to collect everything we need to start proceedings against him.

Maybe I could be wrong, but wouldn’t that be a jackpot win for you if you put him to court?
They could easy figure out how many got the newsletter. If he has many people subscribed that would sum up to a big claimable loss for you..

A small claims action is pretty easy and worthwhile. Don't bother on a legal threat letter.

Small claims process specifically for copyright cases (up to $30k) won't be available until spring apparently, but looks promising as it would simplify the entire process and significantly reduce the cost of bringing action.
