MacBook Pro M1 Max

Is anyone else having troubles getting this going? It worked on my 27" iMac with an Intel chip and USB port. However since that died, I've switched to a new MacBook which has no old school USB ports.

I was using a USB to USB-C adapter and wondered if that may be the issue, however I'm also using a Samsung monitor which acts as a hub and has a regular USB port on it and the MacBook isn't recognizing the MPCX that way either. I saw some people saying no issues with Apple Silicon and Rosetta II (not sure if I'm using 1 or 2 but would assume it's the latest since Apple recommended it in a pop up several times with various software), but

I'm getting the sense that there is some fundamental disconnect going on! I'm not looking to use it as standalone only for several reasons.

Could you confirm what OS you are running?

I'm running the most current OS. Computer is automatically up to date.

It still should run on Monterey. Op did you run the installer and select the right MPC Picture (I know, don’t eye roll). Follow the install steps and restart after each driver install?

I don’t have a X or a Max, I do have a M1 and a Live I, II, and the all pop up just fine. I use either a usb c hub with usb A ports , or the cheap slim line usb c to a adaptors.

I can get all my devices to work to work on the M1 except the the older MPC Studios, REN, and Maschine Mk1.

I ran the installer two or three times per the instructions. Not sure what you mean about the picture. Even ran an update. So have no clue what's gone wrong...

On the initial screen you see after launching the main installer app, you have to select the picture matching your MPC model, this changes the installation options. So tap on the MPC X picture, and on the right you'll see the mpc software install button as well as a MPC X driver install option. Run both, reboot after installing the driver.

Ah, I've definitely done that already. Got what you mean now. Still no luck...
