I have a Casio CT-S500 keyboard with USB MIDI that works great with my MPC Live II (firmware 2.10.1). The Casio also has an optional Bluetooth MIDI adapter (WU-BT10) that you can use - the Live recognizes it but won't pair. You can get them to connect for about 10 seconds if you switch away from the MPC Bluetooth menu and go to the main page and choose a plug in. Once the MPC stops trying to pair they lose the connection. Something is definitely buggy here, I'm thinking it's on the MPC side but I can't be certain.
Has anyone successfully used Bluetooth MIDI (Casio or any other) on their Live or Live II? I'm new to Bluetooth MIDI so maybe I'm doing something wrong
The kicker is it works briefly (you can actually play the keyboard and the MPC responds and plays audio), so I know it has the potential to work 100%
