yo folks
just stumbled across someone posting a picture of the supreme mpc live splash screen

https://imgur.com/a/yXOXGIk

thought it was pretty cool. Surely doing this is as simple as changing the splash screen file to an alternative in the same name/format?
Just wondering if custom images would be possible easily. Not sure if you’d have to open it up to get to that internal memory card

...useless - nice to put into a glass vitrine to look at.
What is needed is a browser view on the last couple of dozend projects - as soon as the MPC starts. For me the factory presets are completely usless - Garage Band feeling, not professional.

This. I can't stand that cringe-tastic demo/template screen with stock photos of "musicians".

I always just set it to "none", and load whatever after that.

...never understood why it is the last 9 projects... NINE - what is this? A new counting in bytes? "...hey, 8 is too old school, let's make it 9" ????

it's doable but not as easy as you imagine. the image file is a raw 32bit image (i forget which pixel format iirc the pixel format is bgra) and you have to flash it to a certain partition on your mpc through ssh or uart with dd. it's a chore but can be done using custom firmware... (if you're not linux savy attempting this could be bad for you)

It's embarrassing to say the least & could use a major overhaul
