Using an MPC X and One on the same computer.

I am having problems getting my PC to recognise the X. It thinks that it's the One and acts accordingly in MPC Beats. Any ideas how to solve this?

Could you explain the problem in more detail please, it's not very clear what the exact issue is? In what way are you trying to get your PC to recognise the two MPCs? Or do you mean the MPC Beats app isn't recognising them? What do you mean by 'acts accordingly'? The more detail you give us, the better the responses!

Thanks for the response. So, basically the One is recognised by the PC but with the X, when I connect it to the pc it basically just hangs on the connection screen. The loading screen on the X.

Have you installed the MPC X driver? You'll need to install this from the MPC Software installer and re-boot. Also, why are you using MPC Beats? If you own the MPC One and MPC X you have two licenses for the full MPC Software, no need to be even looking at MPC Beats, which is a limited version of the MPC Software. Just download everything from your akaipro.com account after registering the MPC hardware.

That's probably it. I just Googled what the MPC DAW is called as I couldn't remember but obviously got the wrong one. Thanks for your help.
