MPC LIVE mk II battery capacity while powering USB synths

anybody knows what the size of the mpc live mk2 battery is ? i find 3350mah on web but that seems incredibly small for the times... surprised we can get 5+ hours out of that.

i'm planning to power my bass station and microfreak through its usb port, i wonder how much use time i would lose in a real life scenario doing this, can't test it right now i lent those two synths to a friend

I measured the power consumption of MPC One on the power supply and showed 300mAh (empty project).
8 track 32bars demo project with 3 plugins gets 500mAh max.
My 19V 20000mAh powerbank gives till 10h sampling time (also 500mAh max).
I also charged the phone via USB, powering MPC by powerbank, then it took about 700mAh.
Remember that MPC One has a USB 2.0, so it does not support fast charging. Live has a faster USB controller, which can allow better power support for connected devices.
To check how much power you can take via USB, download from Play Store some "Charge Meter" and connect the Android USB to MPC Live.
Of course, it's best to know how much power uses your equipment. Assuming that Live gets 500mAh, you will add the equipment that takes the next 500mAh, then from these 5 hours you will have 2.

BTW is another proof that probably the entire board runs on 5V ~ 2A and is only converted from 19V (cheap standard 19v 3.4A max laptop power adapter) and for this reason many moders successfully power the MPC with a sony 7.4V battery pack.

thanks for the details, everything works on my end powering stuff that probably takes less than i think, but still wondering why Akai put such a low capacity battery in there.. like in this era of large batteries where laptops can run 10h+.. 3350mah seems impossibly small, imagine having a 20000mah battery in there (which isn't even that high capacity by today's standard) you could jam with your MPCs for days
