MPC X grid mode selecting notes

Hello my fellow beatmakers.

I have been making feature requests to AKAI asking a tiny improvement for workflow to the MPC X (also it could be implemented in all newer MPC's with different key combination)

I'tll would be super nice to be able to select individual notes in grid mode with
SHIFT+CURSOR or SHIFT+EVENT. For myself this is right now the number one feature for speeding up workflow and this way i could actually use my MPC without touching the screen when making beats and nudging and editing note length/start/volume.

If someone knows a way to achieve this inside the box please let me know, would be so happy to know.

Also getting in to grid mode in MPC X (in my opinion) with MENU+CURSOR keys or poking the screen is not optimal. Is there any faster way to navigate to grid?

Thats the one button its really missing to make it super fast haha. You can hold the menu button down and when it pops up the menu on screen, you can hit the pads to select the different modes instead of using the cursor. Just hold down menu and hit the pad that lines up with Grid Edit and you're there a little quicker.

I know I can get to grid with MENU+CURSOR but really? It really should not be too hard to implement a "secret" key combination to enter the grid.

Mostly I'm hoping for selecting individual notes example with SHIFT+EVENT. I can't understand why it only jumps in front of the note? What is the purpose for this? Why it can't select the note at the same time? Would save a lot of time and it would make editing note values as fast as it should be. I know i can use LIST but it's not the fastest way of editing.

I didn't know these hardware differences.

Well now you know. Something to think about when considering what could be the the MPC most suitable for everyone. We all are different and we have different workflows. Biggest workflow "killer" for me is not be able to "scroll" events note by note in grid edit. Been asking and hoping AKAI to implement this feature from 2.6 or 2.5

selecting (multiple) non consecutive notes in the grid is on top of my list
-and keeping that selection active after processing!!!-

Without a dedicated 'Grid' button, I dont know how much more of a 'secret key combo' you can get. Hold Menu and hit Pad 14 or whatever one lines up with Grid Edit in the menu screen. Two buttons, not very hard at all. Same thing as holding Shift to use any of the button secondary options.

Well in MPC X there is few buttons more than other new line of MPC's. I think SHIFT+ENTER, SHIFT+ -/+ or SHIFT+0 would work perfectly. Easily achievable with one hand because numeric keys are on top of the shift button. Also SHIFT+F-KEY could be nice. I know the possibility to navigate with MENU+PAD but if i have F-KEY already selected i need to click F-KEY first. It takes too many keystikes to get in the grid mode. I know how to survive without this option but don't you really think it does not make the X faster and more enjoyable to use? When making beats I have F-KEY on.

On the MPCX is there a dedicated time correct button or shortcut?
