Hi so the the thing i was trying to do was use a couple of plugins to perform a piece of Jean Micheal Jarre music from my piano via midi which works brill..and use a foot pedal to lauch soud effects that i have sampled with one touch of the pedal and the sample plays a single shot off the list and then waits for the next hit.
So i have found a way to do this really easily...just use sample assign which you leave open while you have the plugins etc loaded up ready to perform...just start the drums etc..going with the start key on the mpcx..sit and play and then use the pedal with it set to INC and it will cycle through the samples that you have loaded up with the song you are performing and you can tick through the list of samples hitting the pedal when you want the next sample of your prepared list to lauch BOOM..the options are endless has to the samples you can launch you just need to prepare them in order ready to go......
Just my idea to get the samples to lauch in order with a one touch on the pedal and forget..no stopping needed just plays the single shot and waits for next pedal input
