if they come out with a new piece of hardware thats not the keyboard/mpc thing, it would be great if they allowed variable samplerates like the s900/s950. That right there on its on is a big one. Make the mpc 44.1 and 48khz in standalone, add HDMI and fix bugs, and id be more than happy.

Maybe the next update will be bug fixes, but also include the function of easily copying and pasting effect chains. Even that would be huge.

Agreed with bug fixes in really getting tired of learning the screen over and over again with new additions im getting lazy with my old age muscle memory...

It's possibile Akai shows up the new MPC synth version with a new firmware, as it usually happens with new hardware.
And then we will have the new firmware also for MPC.

Wow may 12? Just for upgrade could have put at least 2 bug fixes before more devices..

I think an arranger view with tape fx would be dope; think OP1 type effects where u could add tape rewind and tape pause fx to different tracks or on the master track.

and maybe some different vintage tape machines models included that would be very creatively useful; and defo need that mixer screen to be available outside of the clip launching context.

No new plugins please. We need bugfixes. And if it was for me I only need ONE extra feature....setting the audio samples cache for external audio interfaces in standalone. Which should have already been in there at the time the mpc started supporting external audio interfaces. I mean I have more wishes feature wise but this mostly concerns MPC Software and why it is still lacking some basic features all other DAWs on this earth have. But the missing samples cache setting makes the audio IO feature useless for me with all the crackles and everytime I want to sample some external gear into the MPC I have to pull some routing stunt on my mixer or boot up my PC and open MPC Software which is not complicated but unnecessary and it kills the flow.

would really like to see an option to send program changes as soon as you select a sequencer (before pressing play start) so that synths that take more time to load are already loaded when you press the button.

it worked this way on JJ OS2XL.

another request of mine is to have pad perform be on a per sequence basis (saved with sequence) and the option to turn the LEDs off in pad perform.

Engine DJ and Egnine OS just got updated from 2.1.2 to 2.2.0 in the last day or two... so in music is clearly doing things over there, just not focusing much attention on the mpc it seems. perhaps we actually will see that MPC firmware update sooner than later... who knows though... if they rolled out their engine DJ updates for the units though, in theory they *should* have time for other projects.
