I'm loving the q-links in Project mode (where you can assign them to anything anywhere no matter what screen you're on). But I've hit a thing I want to do with a knob that doesn't seem to be an available option.
Is there a way to assign a qlink to switch an insert (or any other effect) on and off?
For example, I am using Air-Stutter, on master outputs 1-2, and I want to be able to make it come on and off suddenly during a performance. Or record myself doing that so that the changes over time can be played back. The best work around I can find is to assign a knob to mix, then I can turn up the blend from 0 to 100% fairly quickly, but very far from instantly! (Selecting "momentary" to on at least makes it switch off instantly afterwards when you take your finger off the knob).
Is there some clever workaround I'm not thinking of? Having a knob assigned to mute one chain and unmute another, or something?
(Sorry to ask two questions in one go, I've been living in the machine and just broke for air...)
