No portamento in MPC keygroup programs, at least not yet.

And please do yourself a favor and work through the manual at least once. That‘ll save you a lot of questions here since you‘ll get quite a grasp of what the machine or software are capable of. And maybe consider getting the MPC Bible, that‘ll let you deep dive into those.

Portamento has been in keygroup programs for a long time (since MPC 2.1 I believe), it was only ever accessible via Qlinks in 'program' mode but now has a dedicated section in Program Edit to control time, legato and quantise.

Go to PROGRAM EDIT > PORTA/MOD, portamento is on the left hand side.

The Legato function in keygroup is close to the Slide, but the attack of the second note will sound. the Bassline plugin can do that.

If the pitch bend value in keygroup is set to 100, the pitch changes by +12/-12 semitones. probably, 50 -> 6 semitones, 25 -> 3 semitones.

Yeah, pitch bend is an odd one, it offers values of 0-100 but there are 12 semitones (in western music at least!) so it's not possible to set it to 'perfect' 1 or 2 semitone ranges, not in the software at least, 1 semitone is 8.3333. I suspect you can perhaps try to add this in the XPM file, i.e.

<KeygroupPitchBendRange>0.083333</KeygroupPitchBendRange>
