Isn't there still a famous DC store called Twelve Inch Dance Records? I've never been to DC but I first heard about this place about 15 years ago.

Just found a listing in the Time Out Washington DC guide book.

Twelve Inch Dance Records 2010 P St. NW at 20th St. Dupont Circle
www.12inchdance.com

It also recommends Yogi Records 2120 18th St. NW between Forida Ave & Columbia Rd ...... as the place for DC's go-go music.

I have some family in Fairfax. Two spots that I've been too:

Fairfax record and tape exhange - Fairfax, VA

Morphus records - Arlington, VA.

The record and tape exchange is pretty dope, they have some good records in there. Morphus has a lot of records, but most a pricey. I did come up on the $1 bin and had some good finds, but most records in there are $5-$15.
