I didn't say it did, I was simply correcting the op assumption, and the other guys, that we're limited to 8 or 10 plugins, which we're not. Neither stated they were in standalone mode, so pointing out that we're not limited in controller mode is a reasonable response.

He wasn't suggesting that, he was merely pointing out that there are no limits to the number of plugin instances in controller mode. He didn't mention program changes.

Please try to take a breath before posting, there's no need for the little snipes (the 'disingenuous' bit).

Thanks for clarifications. Didn't know there were different limits on the Mpc X, or controller mode. I am using MPC Live Mk1, standalone, which is 8.

The different limits relate to standalone versus controller mode. All the models have the same limitations in standalone

hello excuse my imprecision, actually I am in stand alone mode, also if I understand correctly and that I make a synthesis, we are well limited to 8 plugin programs in stand alone?

In standalone, It's 8 plugin instances max per project no matter what misleading comments say and you can't change programs via program change messages as OS 2.11, that's it.

hello I don't understand... akai is releasing new instruments plugins and I have the impression that on firmware 2.11 is still limited to 8 program instruments (while I really feel that it is heading towards a development of instrument programs...

it's really weird though

unless the new program that allows you to make keyboard zone assignments allows you to use more than 8 instruments, but I doubt it?
