!!!!!!!!!!!MULTI-CARD READER MASTER TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although it has been a very popular issue lately and many topics have been created I kind of feel we are still in the dark, in terms of specific models , not necesarly SCIS but newer easier to find IDE models.
So let's just concentrate on this thread here and put all your observations and ideas in one place,so we can easily find new ideas and developments.
For starters-------

- Is the new OS a must when trying to get it to work ?
- Is the OS(1.2 supposedly) that surfaced on this forum some week ago a valid product?
-Anybody has done it by themselves, I am not talkin SCSI models?
-Any other related issues that we might know about.

p.s- I would appreciate no lame comments about searching the forum for previous topics, When you actually do the search you mainly find those lame comments about searching the topic and speculations that really do not say much. So if you are tempted to do so, just get up and go wash your socks.

I been doin quite some searching on this topic on these forums and so far it seems nobody has been able to get it working (IDE card readers that is.)

IDE isnt latest tech uknow....USB is whats good. Maybe thats why u cant find IDE or should I say ATAPI card readers in compUSA etc

I started the topic cause I thought it might help some of us including myself to perform the operation of changing the drives and the thread itself would help to keep all the info in place.
If you feel annoyed by my topic it is maybe a sign that you spend way too much time in here and just get frustrated if something soooo obvious gets discussed and asked about.
I really have problems fully respecting somebody who is playing super smart on the MPC forum and has weak drums. makes no sense.
