It’s going to great for those first time users or those pairing down clutter.

I don’t have a horse in this mainly here for the roll out spectacle… now if a 37 ever drops then I’m in…

Same. I'm just here to listen to the aftermath of people complaining about not getting 25 plug ins and that they already had more than half of them

The reason there is a charge for the new VST plugins is so that the critics can finally make the claim that if they spend the extra money, their MPC Live can finally become almost a Key 61 if they add a midi controller. But they have to pay.

Without spending this money, the critics can't make the claim that they're identical if they only added a midi controller, so now, they get to pay for some of the features to be near equivalent.

Good spot, either a mistake or we have another MPC coming soon. 'Live X' though? Must be other names they could use, this could get very confusing.

Actually the MPC Key 61 is debuted and has been sorta announced by Akai for four hours now at 12AM PST. In this Scott Storch promo playing the sounds of the MPC Key 61 in this MPC Key 61 promo.

I was waiting on the 2.11 to follow suit for download, by I guess we'll have to wait for that when the Key 61 drops on the main page on Akai.com.
