MPC 2.11 Firmware - Dropping 23rd June

Yes, it's totally weird.

I don't think the standalone synths have been updated other than drumsynth which is part of the firmware. But I believe the MPC Software versions have new UI layouts available (really good BTW), so there should be something for that. It's possible they forgot to update it.

If there's no new synth and it's just related to the new synths available for purchase, then that nag screen is going to be VERY, VERY annoying for those that aren't going to buy them!!!

Personally I would buy them if they were a little more reasonable but £499 is a big price! Maybe £250, but not £500...

Are there any improvements to the audio interface issues? Eg the ability to set sample rate or latency, to combat dropouts?

IN testing the midi not-off bug I think they've sort of fixed it... and sort of made it worse. I'll try to be thorough in my description:

Argon synth, big pad sound loaded, set to midi channel 2, connected using DIN straight to MPC

Track 1 :
Set as midi track
Midi Input : All Ports, Channel 2
Midi output : MPC, channel 2

Playing notes on the argon = audio out of the argon

MPK Mini set to midi channel 1

Track 2 :
Set as plugin, Atomic pluck
Midi In : All Ports, channel 1
Midi out None.

Tracks 1 and 2 both set to MERGE

Play C2 on Argon = get Pad sound
Play C2 on MPK Mini = NOTHING... until I release C2 on the Argon, i.e. you now cannot play the same note on two different instruments

WHAT THE ACTUAL!!!!???

NOOOOO they have switched the midi note off bug with a midi note on conflict (((+)

Multi-sampled Yamaha C7 and Stienway Model D with built-in Reverb! I'm in MPC Heaven!

It works, they've changed a few things, but I don't think they know what they're doing because most of it is unfinished.
Where is the pad color change? Where is the expansion preview in the new menu and why can't I add them to favorites?
Ratchet bars are very hard to expand from the bottom.
And I haven't even started digging XD

And people here are asking AKAI to make updates paid cause "hey premium", whatever the **** it means, when not only AKAI are unable to solve these stupid bugs, but they are adding more bugs with each new version?

Of course, none of the "influencers" shilling for AKAI on youtube right now is going to talk about these silly bugs... I bet 2.11 brings a bunch of new ones...

Pad color: MAIN > Program row pencil > Pad color. Makes more sense IMO.

No expansion previews in Sounds browser. It is daft and has been sent as a feature request.

Yes, ratchets tricky to add from the very bottom in grid view, better to add halfway up and adjust up or down.
