Interesting. My mpc is in standalone with nothing else connected - maybe the midi is playing around in the project, without me being able to find it. :WTF:

IMO if it was MIDI the sequence would just stop playing, here it plays and it looks like routing is messed up or there is some effect that shuts all sound from program to main out.

Have you tried bypassing all plugins and inspecting automation?
Maybe it's a case of program being muted - while tracks are not?

It really is something obvious, I'm kicking myself because I posted the exact same problem on FB, but then deleted the post after solving it, my midi sync comment may of been a red herring

..and I’ll attempt to load and troubleshoot again when home from work work in a few hours. We WILL get through this. Hopefully. Maybe.

Yeah thats a recursion issue. You're sending MMC to a device, and that device is sending it back.

I just tried loading the projects up in the MPC2 software.

Ice Cream and Ice Cream 2 throw an error "error loading". I can see some some changes to the sequence length a beat laid out for a split second on Ice Cream before it all disappears and throws the error. Ice Cream 2 just shows a change to sequence length but nothing laid for a split second before it too throws an error.

Iced Cream loads and plays just fine when I first loaded it up but if I reload it again or reload it after trying to load another project it exhibits the same behavior you described and only plays for a second. Closing the MPC2 software and reloading Iced Cream allows it to play fully again.

Edit: I tried loading Iced Cream again fresh and it did the split second play and stop again. Weird. I closed the software and loaded it again and I got super evil and LOUD feedback (rip my ears) but pushing stop and and Play Start again allowed it to play through normally.

Shit is possessed! :evil:
