MPC 2.11 Firmware - Dropping 23rd June

I agree, until they include program previews and ability to add drum/keygroup favorites the Sound browser is only half useful. It's good for plugins of course, but the idea of having to load sample programs into memory just to preview them is nuts.

I have found the software version for 2.11.2 ... where is the firmware version?

I found it right at the bottom of this page in the downloads section eventually.. I swear I looked here a bunch of times and it wasn't there, and then it was haha

Is anyone having issues with the Splice integration?

The folder / browsing structure has completely changed.

Now you have 2 top level folders:
- All Your Samples
- By Pack

The All Your Samples folder is completely empty...

I can browser samples in the By Packs folder but this can be a real pain since the folder structure can be many levels deep....

And I still can't play/use some samples so that hasn't been address yet either...

I've just updated my X and my One online to 2.11.2, all went ok. Just need something for the Force now

So what's the difference between 2.11 and 2.11.2 firmware updates?

No idea, no release notes, haven’t seen anything that’s fixed yet

I've not yet bothered with the 2.11 update. Reading everything here and on GS, I don't think I'll rush. Is this shaping up to be the glitchiest update for a while?

Mine works perfectly.
And it has some very nice new features, an excellent Air Flavour, probability, a nice new customizable menu, more parameters on granular fx and finally XY preset and position gets saved on project.
No glitches till now.

Has anyone tried the new key group feature and had your volume drop significantly for the new key group? It must be either a bug or I’m doing something wrong but have no idea

Gotta be a genius to think of that of that one.

'Custom' is the same as the previous 'off', except it also allows you to create your own custom note mapping using the EDIT NOTE MAP button. Otherwise the pads just run from C-2 to G8.
