Hello guys. My jog wheel on my Mpc X after the update is doing something tricky when working in midi mode. On standalone works fine but when in midi instead of going on the next track (ex. From track 01 to track 02) it always skips a number. (so from track 01 goes to track 03)
It does this everywhere. On bpm (from 100,bpm goes to 102) and also when i am browsing files it skips one file every time.

Any advice? -+ buttons work fine so far

Load old firmware again and try. If it doesn't do this then it's a bug in the newer firmware.
Don't worry, you can load up firmware back and forth between versions, it won't break your machine..

I have the same thing since 2.11.1 (and continue to be an issue in 2.11.2 and 2.11.3 (including reinstalling them and trying again)): when using the wheel, you skip a step going to the next track, the next sequence, the next sample, etc; only using the +/- buttons will get you to the intended step (so that's the workaround for now, using the +/- buttons).

I found this issue mentioned in another thread in this forum, but also in the comments of some YouTube videos and I heard someone mention it is discussed somewhere on facebook too.

So I asked Akai Support for help. At first, that seemed to be difficult, as I had to work my way through "can you reinstall again" etc, but today they confirmed they can replicate the issue on their side as well.

They confirm it's only for the MPC X in 2.11 and only in controller mode; that is what I experience as well.

FYI: They informed me that do not have a solution yet, but it has been passed on to software development, so I expect it to be in the next patch release. I hope it'll be there soon.
