Hey Guys,

I am slowly grasping how to use my MPC Live 2. I have it MIDI'd up with my Microkorg Plus and I can't figure out how to switch sounds in my synth after I record the first sound. Every time I attempt to record a new sound, it switches the sound of my first audio track.

I have watched a ton of tutorials and looked over the bible, but I'm still confused.

Program. Multi Timbral: Maximum 2 (when using Layer, Split, or Multi). Voice polyphony: Maximum 8 voices (when using Vocoder, it is 4 voices).

Are you using a different midi channel for each sound? Make sure that you are, and set your second track to the midi channel of the second sound.

Are you guys referring to the settings in the MPC or the Microkorg?

Do you guys know of any YT videos demonstrating this? Every video I see is just someone recording one sound on one track.
