Guys, just a quick question. If I'm not missing something, I cannot find any way to tag or ‘star’ individual patches, sounds and folders in the MPC browser, correct? There's a way to ‘shortcut’ to a maximum of five folders, but that is it, right?
I wonder, has anyone ever suggested to this and has Akai replied? I have been using the 2kxl for quite while and kind of switched over to Ableton Live on the computer for much of my stuff, and version 10 has this very good tagging system. On the 2kxl I never missed it because obviously you didn't have huge libraries directly on the device. On the Live2 however, I think this would be really neat. Does anyone know if anything like has ever been confirmed as something that Akai might be working on? If not, I will try to suggest it to them...

Alright, thanks. So add that to the list of things that are never coming (because they don't bring enough media attention)...?

If you assign a series of samples to a pad and save it as a program then you can retrieve that set of samples in another project. It’s actually a pretty convenient way to do it. It’ll always be available.

Akai promised this years ago, they can't seem to release what's universally the most appealing feature to any software update and that's workflow.
