I noticed some people complaining about bugs, others solving them with the usual reset preferences. Whats up everyone? how is it so far? or did most of you all go back to 2.10?

2.11.x doesn’t stop me from making beats at all. I have no major problems on mpc key61 or mpc x. I do notice bugs every now and again, mostly annoying.
Usb midi problems would be my biggest complaint.

Its a no go for me here, back on 2.10. I get the pops and clicks with mono key groups and drum programs and the whole Pad Perform thing is really unnerving to me too hah.
I didn't stay with it long enough to use a project with any MIDI gear, so cant comment on any issues there.

Which one was really flowers up 2.8? Or was it 2.7? This is that level, all over again for many people.

For some reason I want to say it was 2.7, but I cant really remember hah. All I remember about 2.8 coming out was everybody gushing over the USB MIDI interfaces but I dont remember a lot of trouble with that one. I think when I bought mine, 2.6 was fairly new and 2.7 came out pretty quick after. I've never really ran into any trouble with any of the updates up until this one.

It was a sad no go for my One. I use Looper to record guitars and whatnot, and with the new update, there seems to be a bug where it won't Assign to the pad selected when selecting Keep. You have to go to Sample Assign screen and assign. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but in a way it really is because now you can't use the MPC as a live instrument looper (and a very good one at that as you can also have live control of arranging everything recorded and assigned to pads in real-time). There were a couple videos I saw about how to use Looper for instrumental live looping and I have yet to check if they had this bug in their update too, but yeah, even though at this point I don't use the Looper for live looping, I'm not going to tolerate an update that has a bug that eliminates a major capability.

I have clicks and pops everywhere. When loading samples from the browser, with external audio interface etc..
Also, the new UI I find it a little convoluted. I only do sample based music, and use the already existing plugins as fillers, or sometimes to make a bass.
so all the new TUI does not benefit me so much right now.
Im back at 2.10.1 for now. Guess that if later I want to buy that beauty of FM or other plugin for filling I will update. Hope that there will be a 2.11.X that solves some of them problems.

I got clicks and pops because all the levels of my old projects were all over the place, I think the effect plug ins levels were changed..
Once I went through and remixed the levels of old projects no more pops and clicks at all.
Maybe worth a try?

MPC One here. Sadly a no go for me. I stuck 2.11 out for about a week. Pops and clicks on programs and Keygroups, weird behaviour in controller mode. Disconnects and a boot problem was the final straw.
Rolled back to 2.10.1 on the One but kept the software on 2.11 and it all plays nice together. A good combo for stability and I can still access the new features and plugins in controller mode so a good compromise until they fix it.

Its A Go For me. That's because I can Make Beats on 2.3 firmware. I personally haven't experienced the Poppin with Choppin Samples. If I experience "Popping", I just Zero Snap the Sample and Adjust accordingly. I'm a Roll wit the Punches kinda guy. I had to Re-Adjust my 1st Menu Screen icons. Got rid of the Lil Tab on the Left (with the Quick Sounds, and other Icons)...in the preferences. However I do like the "Sounds" Option. Convenient. Turning A Pad into a Keygroup is handy and quick also.

Although...I'm still on 2.11.1. I downloaded 2.11.2 but haven't installed it yet because everyone's complaints. Everyone Problem may lie in 2.11.2 not 2.11.1. Just my Opinion.

If 2.11 stops me from making creative music, I'll roll back too. Every Version since the Inception, has Bugs lol.... Even 2.10

2.11.2 fixed for me another problem I got on 2.11.1 : loading a sample or a program from the browser was stopping the sequence playing.
Problem solved in 2.11.2, so it could be some bug fixes also.

Still confused whether I should upgrade or not. Been hearing more weird things from this update than any other in the last couple years. I really hope they address everything soon. Would love some of the new features but it works for what I need so far. Yes there are some wants but the latest update doesn't actually address any of the stuff I wanted besides the Pad Flattening Bug.
