I am trying to set my MPC Live II up for doing live solo gigs. I'd like to be able to run my guitar through it (I only need maybe a couple of simple "clean" sounds) and vocal (Harmonizer).

Focusing on the guitar effects, I'm trying to figure out how to turn them on and off (or bypass them) using MIDI commands. For example, I might want to turn Reverb on and off in real time with a song. In the Menu/Preferences/MIDI control area under the Guitar track I've set up, I can see all sorts of parameters for each effect I've inserted, but not an On/Off or Bypass for any of them.

Is there an easy way to do this that I am missing?

Thanks. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thats like the one thing you cant automate.. Your best bet is to try and automate some sweeps from dry to wet but thats about it. That's why I save all big the track effects and stuff for the mix down in the DAW.. Cubase/Logic/Live/etc, everything but the MPC can automate their effects bypasses.

That's kinda what I'm concluding. I think I can toggle wet/dry to some low value for OFF and some higher value for ON using my MorningstarFX MC8 pedal on a single switch. I guess I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks for the helpful reply. I appreciate it.
