I would like to be able to assign a drumsynth MULTI to map to a different set of notes.

I can't find a way to map drumsynth itself to work on another MIDI note mapping, for example General MIDI.
I want to be able to play drumsynth with standard General MIDI drum patterns. Transposing is not enough, because the keys themselves are wrong (snare should not be C#). Is there are way to do this without rewriting all my General MIDI drum patterns?
I also like to use the cheesy built-in patterns from things like the Yamaha QY series machines, and same problem.

... What I mean is, note map changes the notes for a pad, but it does not change the actual note the drumsynth multi plugin is expecting to trigger a sound.
Example:
Kick is on C-2.
I can change note mapping so a different pad triggers C-2, but I can't change the actual MIDI note number that the multi map expects. I can't tell the MPC to take every C0 note coming in on Channel 10 and map it to C-2. So I can neither reassign which note triggers kick nor can I re-map the realtime MIDI stream to some other scheme.

IMO it should work, setting pad A01 to midi note C1 should mean that the kick in drumsynth is triggered by a C1 midi note. But yes, I just tried it and it still requires a C-2 trigger. The C-2 note itself is effectively hardwired inside the plugin. I even tried changing the MIDI note mapping directly in the XPM file. What is weird is that if I then go to grid edit and press the C1 key on the keyboard that runs vertically on the left side of the screen, it does play the kick, but it registers a C-2 in list edit.

Thank you MPCTutor, I thought I was losing my mind.
I make analog drum synths, and when I write the MIDI code to control them I assume people either want to map each synth to any note they want, or at least that it follows a standard General MIDI map. I can't imagine the conversation between the engineers who wrote this great set of plugins and the "product manager" who argued there was no need for note mapping.

Don't assume the feature wasn't argued for. But it would be a nice feature update (and seeing as how they updated Drum Synth in 2.11 does show that they are listening). Hopefully we'll see proper note mapping addressed at some point in the future.
