I've been a happy user of MPC Live II for some time now. I do love it and am happy with everything it can do. But I think it could be better. How to send feature requests to Akai?
So far I've got two ideas that would help me performing live and creating as well.
1. It's awesome we can map QLink knobs to any parameters, but I'd love to control several parameters with one know. Like for instance control cutoff on my low pass filter and then change delay mix at the same time. It would also be nice if we could change how it affects it, either positive or negative (like if I turn qlink up it will make delay mix less when I want to)
2. Individual length timelines. I think each track should have it's own configurable length. Currently we can make a track shorter than other tracks so it will repeat bars, but it would be nice if it wouldn't start over when we reach the first step. So each track would have it's separate length. It's kinda doable with clip program. But It's really annoying on clip program, when the longest timeline length is less than the length of my clip program then clip program will get cut off when track reach first stop.
There's probably more, like the UI could be much more intuitive, but it is getting better with the latest update, so I'm having my fingers crossed for this one.
What do you think?
