learning disability

SO- I usually think there's something wrong with the MPC ONE I have when I am trying to learn it. Today I set it up for dubbing audio into the sampler. It took me probably 10 minutes to finally see that little grey 'on' button on the lowerside. SO- Again- I wanted to learn how to save that sample.

No go.

I realized finally that in main mode there's a folder on top. ah, i can't really remember it. I tried saving the sample itself and it would only let me save an XPG.

Is it possible to just work on making samples and saving them as you go?

Or at least use the search function in the akai manual ...... your answer is there, you've just not looked hard enough

The manual is easily accessible via the help menu in the MPC Software on a computer. And samples are automatically saved with the project, I find that the easiest way.

If you sample a bunch of things in, make sure to hit the “Keep” button each time you press the button to stop sampling, and name the sample. Then go into the save screen (it’s a bit different on 2.11 standalone) and select “Project”. This lets you see all the sequences, programs and Samples in the project.

From here just select the sample you want to save and hit save. You need to save each one. There is no bulk way to do this.

(Actually you can save samples in bulk if you assign all the samples to a program and save the program. It will save all the audio files in one go, but then you have this useless program file you need to delete.)
