MPC Live - QLink1 issue

My Qlink #1 is acting weird. The values jump both ways - positive and negative when I turn it slowly. Pressing down on the Qlink appears to solve this issue.
Has anybody experienced a similar problem? If yes, how did you solve it?

I have seen people mention this, but not for a while.

If memory serves, prising the knobs off and re-seating them was a fix.
