updated the firmware from 2.9 to 2.11 can't preview drum kit

I just updated the firmware from 2.9 to 2.11

They have changed the browser layout,

On the MPC X, I used to be able to scroll through expansion banks with the big wheel and preview the kits before loading them.

It seems like we have to load kits to actually hear them with this updated firmware.

Is there some trick to do this now?

Any suggestions, or do I need to downgrade back to 2.9?

No, the expansion browser has not been changed at all, it still works as it always has.

Are you referring to the expansion browser (BROWSER > Expansions), or the new 'sounds' browser? If so, the sounds browser doesn't currently support program previews, it's good for plugin presets, but not expansions. For expansions, use the normal expansion browser, and make sure 'audition' is set to AUTO (and that the expansion you are browsing actually has program previews enabled, not all do).
