so im on a MPC Live 2 and when i save a project is saves as a .xal file instead of a .xpj file. so my project will NOT save properly or load properly. and when i manually change it to a .xpj file it wont load. any help on a fix?? im on 2.11.4

Change the filename extension all you want it’s still what it is and nothing more. Change it back as original and stop doing that.

Maybe your in the wrong spot/menu to save an xpj (project file).

You must be selecting the wrong option. Go to menu, then save, and choose project. It works properly every time as the MPC is not capable of saving it under a different file type if you choose the proper option.
