MPC Key 61 Carry Case / Gig Bag

Just curious if anyone has found a nice carry case / gig bag for this beast.

There are plenty of generic products out there that should be decent but I wondered if anyone can recommend a case that fits nicely and provides good protection.

Soft case makes the most sense for me.

Well, if you order from KraftMusic they bundle it with a Gator GKB 61 Slim gig bag. Those are regularly $130 so I assume it’s a good fit.
My key 61 is arriving Wednesday, and a bag I ordered will arrive Friday. I have 4 RoadRunner highway cases for my Ibanez guitars, and I love them ! I ordered the 61 key wide, ( may be exchanging for the 61 key regular). A lot of reviews for the keyboard bags were negative, but I decided to try it as I love their guitar bags. The wide version was $59 the regular was $49 at Guitar Center. Will post my thoughts next weekend.

Great tip. I saw the Gator bundled with the Key. I've had good success with Gator in the past so I might jump for it. I was not familiar with the Roadrunner but will look ok in to it.

The RoadRunner case came,… not recommended. First, the 61 key wide is too wide, (tall). The regular 61 key would be a better fit. The overall problem is it just doesn’t have enough padding. It’s not going to protect your keyboard. It’s going back.

I’m planning on getting the Gator gig bag Kraft bundles with the MPC Key 61. If my local GC doesn’t have one in stock when I return this, I’ll have them order it, pay the difference and be done with it.

It’s sad, the Key 61 isn’t likely to ever leave my house, and this bag isn’t even padded enough to secure it here, in my house.

Has anyone else picked up a decent bag/case for this thing? I just got my Key 61 and it's crazy how there's not a lot of purpose built cases/bags for the thing. A google search turns up not much. Any suggestions? OP what did you end up getting? L8r...

Just resurrecting this thread as a PSA: either the poster in this thread mislabeled which case came from Kraft music or the manufacturing dimensions of the Gator Cases GKB-61 Slim have changed. I just got the GKB-61 Slim and it does not fit the MPC Key-61. I blindly got the Slim because of this thread, but now after about 10 minutes of seeing if I could wrangle it in (then doing what I should have initially done and check the actual dimensions) it is about 1 too short in length.

And just to add for future searchers; I found an archive of the old Kraft listing- it was the Gator Cases g-pg-61 slim that came in the bundle!
