Hi all,

I'm new to configuring external hardware to the MPC X, so I hope someone can help me out with this.

I've got a Beringher TD-3-MO connected to the MPC X with this configuration:
  • Midi cable to Midi in on the TD and set to channel 1 from the MPC Midi Output A
  • Output to MPC Input 1 & 2
  • Inside the MPC preferences, Sync send is set to Midi Clock and the Send option is checked.
When the TD is on internal, I can hear the sequence of the TD playing through the MPC, so it's possible to make a sample/record audio.
When the TD is put on Midi, I can use the pads on the MPC to make sounds from the TD.

It would be nice that when I hit the start button on the MPC, the internal programmed sequence of the TD starts playing, so it's synced with the MPC. Am I missing something here in my configuration? I checked for some instructions and on youtube and I found one with the TD-3 and it was set up like I have it now, but it doesn't seem to work with the TD-3-MO.

Solved. I also had to switch sync on next to the output port A in preferences (Midi/Sync) in the MPC X.
