Hey man - get different!
Maybe start with some vocals - an ill vocal sample from some live jazz record - childrens vinyl - maybe sample some live audience clapping and cheering - hell even play a few of the actual record you're sampling from at orig speed ...
just some ideas kid

Hey man - get different!
Keep it short.
...... but if you are giving tracks on CDR to DJs it is a good idea to include a "dj friendly" version with any easy-to-mix-with beat intro. DJ CD decks still aren't quite as responsive as vinyl on turntables but, especially in house, techno & drum & bass, DJs like to have ultra exclusive stuff on CDR. Give them a version they could use in the middle of a mix, not just the start .... unless they are making a mix CD where your mad intro could get you that all important first position.
