Is there any possibility to make a hard reset or a factory reset power on , on the mpc x

If your thinking “erase everything”, don’t do that. Damn near every OG here will advise against that. Install a hdd in the slot underneath (I did) and use that. Don’t save/write/erase anything on the default internal drive.

The mpc x immediately shuts down after booting
I have no possibilities to reach the preferences menu, thats why i need to reset it while booting.
Like a reset it while pressing the power on switch no access to menu

Did you erase or delete anything from the Internal Drive prior you having problems?

Hi!

Try these:

hold down record + stop + play start buttons down, then press the power button - it should then enter update mode and reinstall.

16 step + c + next seq - 'should' boot into update mode also.
