I'm new in here. But I found the solution to the 0,1% MPC-users who are behind the MAC-address wall. :-D
I have had some troubles connecting my MPC Live ii to the wifi at home because i need to connecting through mac-address on every device.
I started to contact AKAI (in music Germany), but they have never heard of it. After an hour.. Nothing.

Anyways. I found a solution.
(I think it is the same at mac.)

Windows 11
Launch windows settings
Select network & internet
Choose mobile hotspot
And share from wifi

Connect your MPC to the wifi.
And then it is possible to see the MAC Address.

I hope that it was helpful for some people who have had the same problems

Hey - Mac user here 12.0.1.

My wifi requires the MAC address of each device to be connected as you mentioned.

I had issues figuring this out from your instructions so I just troubleshooted.

Solution:

Use iPhone to connect via thunderbolt to USB-C to Macbook - enable internet sharing within preferences, select share connection from iPhone USB (there were 3 options, I used 3 when I got my result, may not matter).

Then share to "computers using: WiFi"

Then I establish the connection, and open terminal. Running the command "arp -a" will list devices connected to the network you are sharing from.

I'm not very technical/ have never used Terminal seriously, so I ran the command once unconnected and once again connected. The only difference I found was a new connection labelled [bridge] with a MAC address.

Crossed my fingers and put it into my wifi management/ MAC entry. Boom! It works. Thanks for being the only lead that got me here on what appears to be the whole internet.
