So my MPC X appears to connect to my wifi. I can see it and it says connected, but any time I try to download a trial of the new plug ins,or look for OS updates, it just says "can't connect to server" or "check your internet connection".

I had no problem a few weeks ago when I downloaded Fabric and OPX4. Downloaded and activated no problem all from the wifi on the MPC X.

Could this be a glitch with the new 2.11.6 OS?

Any ideas what the problem could be? I direct connected my MPC One via ethernet and had no problem connecting and downloading, but MPC X doesn't have an ethernet port.

I've reset preferences. Have power cycled my router..etc. Not sure what else to try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For the record, in the past 24 hours the authentication server for Akai/InMusic took a shit, so if you've been trying to log into your InMusic account and authorize or download content then, that might have been the issue. But it's back up and running now, so if you're still having trouble:

1. Go into Preferences, and Reset
2. After restart, go into Preferences, WiFi, and disconnect and delete your saved WiFi network.
3. Add your Wifi network again, and log in using your SSID credentials. Wait for your X to show a green bar underneath indicating it's logged in.
4. Now go into your Plugins page and see if you can log in, authorize or deactivate, or download content.

Pro tip: You will not have a download option if the content folder is already installed for said plugin with older content inside. In that case, go into Controller Mode and delete the Synths folder (or the synth in that folder) to make that option appear again.

you really dont need to reset your prefences  just go into network/wifi and forget the network ,then reconnect
