My workflow consists of making the beats on my mpc and sending the separate tracks to cubase to sequence and mix them.

I bought air Flavor pro and all the tracks on which I used this plugin were impacted in terms of rhythm (I had to cut and reset each of the tracks on which I had used air flavor pro

Has anyone had this concern?

Don't some of the features there purposely affect perfect timing?

Plug-ins that modulate pitch seem to require latency.

no it's not done deliberately unfortunately, because when the sound before export I do not encounter the problem.

and as for the fact that the plugins that influence the pitch of the sound which would create a time lag, I will not encounter that on air flavors standard I did not encounter this problem on air Flavor standard

honestly I'm a little disappointed

Not sure if I understand..
How can I create similar issues? I want to hear myself first and decide. I’m demoing but haven’t dig deep enough to notice.

Most Pitch shift programs aren't created to be used on multiple channels all at once pitch shifting real-time, because of the power needed to process pitch shifting. So going multiple tracks will allow you to experience latency. You would need a top notch computer CPU to process multiple pitch-shifting in real time across many tracks and get no noticeable latency. An average computer isn't gonna cut it processing pitch-shifting in real time across more than one track.

But you can cut some of the latency out by going into Preferences /Audio Device and then Buffer and then set the buffer as low as it can go, if you can set it lower, the latency will decrease. But Pitch-shifting programs are normally used for single tracks and not multiple. You can also re-sample each single track with no latency or lower latency until all the tracks are done. But live pitch shifting multiple tracks will give you problems on an average computer.

Are you running the MPC Software as a plugin in Cubase for Flavor Pro (I'm assuming this is the only way you can do this)? There is no plugin delay compensation in Flavor Pro to my knowledge, so many of the algorithms will put things slightly out of sync. I don't even know if the MPC Software reports plugin delay compensation numbers, does it?

If you do this all in standalone and just bounce your Project tracks to stems, and open those in Cubase, you may have better luck - though you may still need to nudge some.
