Hi good day
well I have some problems in mix bus Idea in stand alone mpc forms
I love mpc's output sound color and effects so much that every step I go forward I just take back every thing in mpc itself to the point that now I don't wanna put anything in any digital daw or something else.
I wanna make a mix bus channel as a final dry/wet effect for my mix
I don't know how to do it exactly correct , what I do is that I send them as a Return that you usually do for delay and reverb and try to do it in this way
problems:
1. is there any correct way to do this or is this the only way to do this?(cause it has it's own limitations like when you change the volume of the main channel it going to change the return channels as well)
2. I really love the mpc's main compressor and I tend to use them as my compressor more than Air comp, but when I add them in return channels they have delay and make phase issue with the real channel but the Air compressor is okay and doesn't have any delay.I love Air compressor too but I'm just asking as is there any solution to this things?(I tried to use sample delay but it only had positive delay seconds and the return channel itself has positive delay )

Change the returns outputs to something other than the main outs and changing the volume of the main mix won't affect the returns output. The default setup runs the return right back into the main outputs so you're mixing it in along with it.

well thanks for the cool trick
but it's kinda impractical in what I do cause the available outputs in returns are just other outputs and not submixes that you can route to main output at the end and you don't have any mastering channel just two racing outputs together
well I think there isn't any other way I searched a lot after this and I think the solution is to adapt and it's really great as is too
but I really think the compressor thing should be considered by akai itself cause mpc's own comps are so much cooler than air comps
