Akai/InMusic Authentication Server down?

It's cool. You got lucky, because Akai support was live chatting with me and point blank said their authentication server was down, they were aware, and were working on a fix.

seems like the authentication servers are down again

I've been on an email thread with AKAI/inMusic for over a week now, and they cannot fix my issue

Not sure how your trying to authenticate, but I have never once had success punching the 25digit serial into my MPC one connected to the Internet. Failed every time.

The easiest way to authenticate imo is to download the VST version on your PC or Mac. Click the activate button. Paste in your 25digit serial and authenticate that way. Now go switch on your hardware and connect to the Internet. It should auto authenticate through your inmusic account automatically.

Is this still going on? I'm trying to re-enable my Live 2 and I'm not getting a response at all over my home network, which does have a DNS adblocker, which has been the case before, but requests aren't being blocked, or on my phone using a wifi hotspot.
