How to copy automation to new track

I want to copy pad parameter automation for Pan and Level from ProgramFOO Pad A9 Track 1 to ProgramBAR Pad A9 Track 2. Is this possible? The manual isn't helpful here.

pad parameters sound like something that would be tied to the program, not the track itself. i don't think you can copy one parameter of a program to another program. but on the other hand, you're really just copying one track to another track i think, just in another program, so i don't see why you wouldn't be able to apply the functions of that track to the program loaded. i think maybe because it's pad parameters, those have to do with the program you have loaded and when you load a different program it's going to load that program's pad parameters instead.
