Basic output routing question

Hello, I just got a MPC X and need help with output routing. Here is what I want to do...

I notice by default, the output of all the sequences go to output 1,2. I want to route all of my Sequences, to the physical 1/4" output 1,2 and also 3,4 at the same time. So I can hear my main program out in those two destinations (at the same time).

Doesn't matter what you want. It matters what the capabilities of the machine are, and that's what you work within.

Main out routing, on the main screen, you can only choose what you can choose there. Hit the eyeball and click the crown (main output).

Can't do it.

However... if you route a Return to a second set of outputs, putvthe same processing on the Return as your Main outs, and then send every track/program to that... yeah, you could fake it.

Interesting...such a basic request I'm surprised the MPC X doesn't have basic routing features. Oh well I'll try those helpful suggesting.

Question about that Headphone output solution, what kind of cable would I need to make it to the following destination and still maintain stereo out?
My destination has (2) 1/4" inputs (L + R). How do you do (1) 1/4" stereo to (2) 1/4" stereo?

You buy a TRS Stereo to Mono cable?

If you use an audio interface that allow routing, you can get more flexible routing. With the scarlett 4i4 gen3, I can set the headphone output with a custom mix. So I can monitor metronome (mpc sending it out 3+4) & the master, while the main outs (1+2) just output the mix.

It does have basic routing. Main outs, independent outs.

I tried that with my 2i2 Gen3. It only has 3 native outputs (headphone being the third) but I thought about the 4i4 Gen3 like you said since it has 4 balanced outs. But I'm getting a slight audio delay when I hit any pad on the MPC, to actually hearing it out of my monitors (connected to the Line outputs from 2i2).
How did you achieve zero delay? Or do you have that slight delay also?

Monitor is always zero delay, it's straight through audio.

Everything else, try playing around with buffer settings.

Not sure what delay you're encountering. None here, and I'm a drummer at heart.
