some more info would help. like maybe how long have you had your mpc? you the original owner? was there any strange behavior happening before the black screen incident? did it flash and then go black or just not even turn on at all one day?

If the screen is the only issue then there are replacement screens available at mpcstuff.com.
If you are under warranty still then I would suggest talking to Akai/InMusic. That or the shop you bought it from.

device worked fine before i replaced the 3.0 usb port.
on the pcb board due to it being damaged.

now when i power up device it has a black screen so i read comments and people were stating that the screens
go out often so i replaced it and ribbon cable

but the screen is still black do you guy have any knowledge of places i can send device for repairs or part
MpcStuff doesnt have pcb boards instock please helpppppppppp

Something about mirroring the MPC screen....and drivers not being installed properly.
Keep in mind - the MPC is a Linux computer in a box.

Ah, the plot thickens. You didn't disclose that you had performed surgery on your PCB in your original information overloaded first post. :nod: So, it's likely you botched the soldering job and broke something else during your USB port replacement. Maybe check and see if you damaged the PCB with your soldering iron?
