Just wondered if anyone uses the Mpc s an audio interface, with or without the software?
I am getting a separate digital clipping/static sound, I get the audio ok but I get this other sound too. I have used akai asio drivers, asio4 all, and windows audio driver, same results.
Anyone else?
Tried different usb cables, I’m on latest firmware albeit Hakai.

maybe it is a ground loop? try putting all your gear on one power socket. and if you happen to use a laptop you can try to run the laptop of batteries.
also, maybe you have some em interference sources closely to the mpc like screens, wifi router, cell phone....
thirdly, do you run dimmers on lights or do you use fluorescent tubes? these can also cause this issue

Thanks for the reply
Don’t think it’s external , but I’ll check the ground loop suggestion , because both laptop and Mpc were from the same socket .

incorrect rate or blocksize. set a higher blocksize (gain some latency but lose the cracking). Or double check the cable you are using is indeed a usb 3.0 cable as they are higher bandwidth cables. then if that crap is good. SMACK IT WITH THIS BROOM AND SAY CMON BESSY!. I told you it works! (no it doesn't)
