ok i just recently bought an efx processor right
a behringer virtualizer pro
but im having a hard time getting this thing to work
and the instruction manual isnt helping so much

im havin trouble getting a sound from my mpc2000xl onto the efx
i got the midi out on the mpc to the midi in on the efx
now this is where i dunno how to work the thing
on the mpc i goto the midi screen
then i hit dump
on my efx processor i goto Store and put on
then i hit send on the mpc and nothing happens
im not sure what the device id is either
this is what i need help with

i think i figured out how to get sounds onto the mpc
after **** with em on the efx
but i cant get sounds onto the efx to begin with
sorry if this sounds really ignorant
but it is

any help is appreciated

that aint gonna work. midi isnt audio. u need the 8 outs and a mixer to do what u want to do. U would isolate a track and send it to mixer then use a mixer send it to the virtualizers audio, then have it return back to the mixer. Ur best bet for now would be to sample through it. run ur turns into it then into the mpc.

yes a mixer, and the 8 outs. or get the mpcs fx card.

8 outs, yes, you can purchase it and install it yourself easily.
EB16 (efx card) you can also purchase and install it yourself easily.
