More fx plugins on the way. Spoiler alert.

Wowza, that's superb. The Vintage filter looks promising and intuitive way for creative mixing in standalone I second the spectrum analyzer, thats endgame but fix the damn bugs first in updates pls

Hey excellent job, mate.
Nothing new because we already have filters, delays and chorus but very nice anyway.
The filter with lfo is nice to have, since the Akai autofilter is a bit tricky.
And delay pro looks interesting, even if it's nothing you cannot have putting some other air fx before or after a delay.
But good that they are still improving the fx arsenal.

Here is a nice simple beat i threw together to demo the sound of the fx plugins.

I have a multitap (really tight) on the drum kit. then a chorus / delay on the microkorg sounding lead which is actually hype lol got a delay pro on the keys as well.

They are nice effects tbh but they are already available on pc and mac in airs line of plugins iirc. If they got them for some kinda new year sale for $20 sure why not. If these are $80 a pop or more like the others that wont be cool.

They aren't so unique that they are worth dumping money into. I am really NOT digging the whole "pay to win" model akai is setting up.

They are enabling the wealthy and treating the poor as second class citizens when technically anyone who owns an MPC technically already paid them for their future development.

We all paid and we paid well and having them dangle shit in our faces while the scene moves on and some people get left behind due to finances is proper f*cked.

Maybe you can just crack the plugins one day^^

They’ll likely be free since they are already built into the OS. If you scan for new plugins you can see them being ignored.

They will be free for sure.
It wouldn't make any sense to sell a delay a filter and a Chorus. At the end, if you look carefully, they are just chains of Air fx we already have on MPC.
But good to know they are still working on fx.
What other standalone has this good inbuilt quality fx?

Already got the entire library of paid plugins for the standalone. Not ready to fork any more money into that. Well... If they'd come out with a high quality reverb or even a convolution reverb that's a totally different story lol.

I asbolutely appreciate what you do for the community but i strongly disagree here. Since when do buy anything because you hope for and expect free future updates? Bugfixes and new OS features (to some extent ) sure but additional plugins? And you buy something like an mpc for what it does NOW and everyone needs to decide themselve if that‘s value enough or not. And to be fair, you get really a lot for your money already.
No one neeeds this additional plugins to be almost limitless creative, there is a ton of free stuff in this machines already. And it seems they learned their lesson, the first bunch of plugins was way overpriced but the price for mini D or flavor pro seems fair to me. If we want akai to keep the motivation high than i‘m fine if they make some extra cash with plugins (as long as they don‘t forget to develop the OS further). I also don‘t think anyone who can afford an MPC or force is „poor“ in my books. This are still luxury objects compared to what really poor people have to deal with. Just my 2 cents…

I always tell folks that the SP404 mk2 has great curated effects. Limited controls sure, but it's been honed to be really tight and sound great for most instances. The MPC has a *lot* of effects, but it's super easy to sound like hot garbage if you don't take the time to work with it.
