Can’t save “Note On”

I am trying to change a sample in the program edit- global to “note on”. Even when I save it it keeps defaulting to “one shot.”
What is going on here and does anyone know how to fix this?

Check to see if there is any Automation on the Track in the List Edit?

The tear-drop at the top of the screen, is it set for multiple, current, etc.....
Make sure ONLY the pad your trying to adjust show up at the top of the screen.
